Mick Extance Newsletter August 2008.
|
|
Hi Folks,
From now until the start of the Dakar Rally on 3rd Jan 2009 we will be posting a monthly newsletter on the website to keep you all up to date on exactly how the campaign is going.
Chris Hewgill of CKH Racing has now aligned himself with the Team and will be handling all of our Media and PR work.
The Team now has a professional PR and Media package which will ensure all sponsors get maximum exposure, Chris's philosophy is to make sure we are all working together as a team with aims, objectives and most importantly focus. The campaign now has a strategy, which through careful research will ensure product and company alignment. The aims are not only to ensure Mick has the best equipment and financial backing for the 2009 Rally, allowing him to concentrate on training, product development and practice. But to make sure your commitment as sponsors, is valued and rewarded.
Chris can be contacted on chris@mickextance.com or chris@ckhracing.com.

Extance V Hammond!!
Race Paint UK did a great job getting the bike ready for filming, it really does look good. We all had a great day, which was helped by some glorious weather. The event and inclusion in the Hammond DVD really does go to show the level in which Mick and the team are now aspiring to, hopefully it will also bring about some great exposure for all the sponsors. We will be getting some photo's out to you all, as soon as possible. Mr Hammond proved himself to be just the person he is on the television, a consummate professional and all round nice guy, as were all of the production crew. A big thanks must also be given to the Bowler Nemesis Team and the Land Owners who all helped make it quite an unforgettable day. |

One thing the filming did provide was an opportunity to get the Rally bike out and give it it's first ride in anger! Mick was impressed and to be fair those of us watching Mick were also pretty impressed, bike and rider looked comfortable and seriously quick. August is going to be another busy month, it starts with the Pidcock Honda sponsored IMBA motocross event at Branston and the British Masters event at Hawkstone Park, Mick and the bike will be at both. Please don't forget, if you want Mick, the Team and Bike at any of your business functions just let us know. If you can think of anyone else who's company might like to be associated with Britain's best Dakar Motorcycle Rally Team please let Chris know. Finally, thanks once again to you all, for your continued support.
